Tuesdays | Intermediate Wheel: Teapots | 6-8pm
DATES: June 3 - 24
In this FOUR-week second-level class, we’ll dive into the world of teapots! Teapots are a true all-around pottery challenge, using technical wheel skills, handbuilding, design, and precision to make a classic functional piece. We’ll spend a week on each part of the process - throwing the components, trimming, handles and attachments, and glazing.
Classes meet once a week for 2 hour sessions, with open studio time daily for you to work on your own.
In each class session, you will build on what you learned and made the previous week, so we strongly advise you to make sure you’ll be able to attend all class sessions before signing up.
