STORY She believed is a collection of artwork dedicated and inspired to the woman of God named Mary. Famously known as ‘Mother Mary’ the mother of the Lord Jesus Christ. Her story unfolds a tale of belief and faithfulness. What most captivated Lexi in her study of Mary was her choice to belief. There was a moment when the angel came and told her what would come to be through her life and body. Like Zechariah, she was visited and asked a question but it didn’t seem to be one of doubt. She had the chance to choose in that moment how she would respond to the  seemingly impossible thing what would define her life and awaken her  purpose. Her testimony of faith and choosing God above all else inspired her to share a deeper part of this woman. Lexi was intimidated because of the reverence held for her. Yet she was a mere human being who began as a girl. We don’t know what Mary looked like, but Lexi’s hope is to invite all cultures and walks of life into seeing they have the power of faith and live by faith as Mary did.
