WORKSHOP MUST BE SCHEDULED WITHIN 6 MONTHS OF PURCHASE
This is a great way to make something you will remember forever with your friends, family, or co-workers!
*Email hello@morehouse.studio with your preferred date+time and what type of workshop you would prefer. Please provide at least 2 weeks notice if you are interested in a specific date (more notice is ideal for holidays like Valentines, Mother’s Day, etc.)
We offer wheel and hand building workshops. Wheel workshops can fit up to 8 people, hand building workshops up to 7.
What kind of workshop is right for my group?
If you’re up for a challenge, wheel might be for you! Wheel is super fun, but the learning curve is steep, so your first pieces may be a bit more abstract art than functional pottery. We’ll get messy, get out of our brains and into our bodies, and learn a lot!
If you want a piece you can use every day or are interested in a more social environment, handbuilding is a great choice! Handbuilding uses a lot of skills you’ve probably used before, so all you’ll need is your patience and creativity. It’s a great environment to chat and create, and everyone will be able to make a functional piece!
This Workshop includes
2 Hours of Studio Time and Instruction
Clay for the workshop
Two rounds of firing for your pieces
You will pick out a glaze and we will fire it for you
You get to pick up the pieces you created after about 6-8 weeks!
