BEGINNER + INTERMEDIATE CLASSES

You will definitely make a mug you can drink out of ( a dream of every beginner potter and if in the intermediate, most likely a teapot ). We would love to have you join us at Morehouse as we explore how to build practical works of art with clay!

Class Details

• 8 weeks of 2 hour classes

• Includes 1 bag of clay

• Tool kit provided during the class

• 2 rounds of firing all your pieces

• Access to all the Morehouse glazes

• You can come in to use Open Studio hours when we are open (you can use wheels when they aren’t used for class) to practice/play/work on pieces

• You have two weeks after classes to finish up all pieces made!

Good to know!

• Your first bag of clay comes with the class + bring your own tools if you want, but we have them for you!

• Wear clothes you’re comfortable getting clay on, we have aprons to help, but they only go so far.

• Cut your nails, potter’s nails need to short

*Additional clay will be $40 per bag, this includes firing pieces and glazing.

1. We have a waitlist! if the class full email hello@morehouse.studio or message us here on the website to be put on a waitlist for a class! Spots usually open up!

2. Want to know about upcoming classes? You will be contacted for upcoming classes via our newsletter. Sign up at the bottom of the page so you are added to the list.

3. Please review our cancellation policy before committing to a class. We are a small studio and one person really does make a difference in every direction!

In each class session, you will build on what you learned and made the previous week, so we strongly advise you to make sure you’ll be able to attend all class sessions before signing up.

A minimum of 4 students is needed to continue with each class series.
