BEGINNER + INTERMEDIATE WHEEL CLASSES

In our eight week class you’ll learn the joy and foundations of throwing on the wheel and what it looks like to explore new more complex techniques. Wheel throwing is an incredible creative outlet and way to understand who you are. These are perfect classes if you are just getting started and great if you have a bit of experience, wanting to grow your skills and learn some new ones

Classes meet once a week for 2 hour sessions, with open studio time daily for you to practice on your own.

In each class session, you will build on what you learned and made the previous week, so we strongly advise you to make sure you’ll be able to attend all class sessions before signing up.

Class Details

• 8 weeks of 2 hour classes

• Includes 1 bag of clay

• 8 piece tool set is provided during classes

• 2 rounds of firing all your pieces

• Access to all the Morehouse glazes

• Open studio when we are open (you can use wheels when they aren’t used for class) to practice/play/work on pieces

• A shelf to put all your belongings on for the duration of the class

• You have two weeks after classes to finish up all pieces made

Materials

• Your first bag of clay comes with the class!

• Wear clothes you’re comfortable getting clay on, we have aprons to help, but they only go so far.

• Cut your nails, potter’s nails need to short

*Additional clay will be $40 per bag, this includes firing pieces and glazing.

A minimum of 4 students is needed to continue with each class series.
